Who else here is getting way overinvested in the mcytblrsexymen tournament? (Cleo, Joe, and Oli sure are!) We're just getting to the end of the first round at 9 PM EST today and things are already looking interesting.




(my current bets for the quarterfinals are Scar vs. Oli, Cleo vs. Ranboo, Joe vs. Keralis and Jimmy vs. Grumbot, but anything can happen!)

Me. Shaking my head at some of the current poll standings but who knows what will happen in the end, some of them are very close!

Some of them are! Tubbo's race is the closest rn, I think, which I did not expect (though I also had a hard choice to make there.)

I like Tubbo a lot but he's not someone I would call a "sexyman" at all. (Though there's no consistent criteria anyway and it's to some degree a popularity poll but still.)

I think Tubbo actually has a chance of *growing into* a tumblr sexyman (nukes help, lbr, and so does getting drunk for the first time during MCC) but he's definitely not there yet. But I don't really know anything about his opponent so I stared at it awhile - I think a lot of people had that same problem. Thus the tie.

I had the best intentions of informing myself but then, after I watched two hours of Legundo winning Minecraft Game of Thrones, had to admit that I don't have that much time and only voted in some of the polls.

That's fair. I knew 45 out of 64 via either MCC, DSMP, or Hermitcraft friends and family, which is not really something that speaks in my favor ;_; I think there were only two races where I didn't know anybody, which is kind of terrifying. (Although there were also a few where I didn't think I knew the one I knew well enough to vote. Mostly people I only know from DSMP fic because I haven't got to their parts of canon yet.)

Over one third of the total tournament is people who appeared in the recent Hermitcraft/Empires crossover, which definitely helped.
