With so many amazing Hermits on the server we surely don't have time to watch all of them ourselves. Instead, the community will shine a spotlight on a different Hermit every week, where we can share recs of everything from Hermitcraft episodes, other videos, and fanworks for the Hermit in question!

This weeks Hermit is the most gorgeous of them all (and pretty loud if you're wearing headphones): Stressmonster101!

Stress tends to come across as very cute in the videos of other Hermits but she can also be pretty terrifying, and the Civil War in Season 6 is a good example:

She often teams up with other Hermits, especially False and Iskall. Her and Iskall have a very entertaining dynamic:

Besides enjoying the shenanigans on the server, Stress builds some very pretty builds, and this episode is an example of both:

And finally a bonus video by hermitcraft.snippets on YouTube, who loves Stress as much as I do:

The last of the Kingdomcrafters to join in Season 4 is known for his chivalrous attitude, lawyerly skills, and sick rap beats: it's Welsknight!

This means that I can finally share the one time Wels got to put those lawyer skills to use in what to me is the absolute highlight of Season 4, Logfellas vs. the State:

And we can't forget the episode that confirmed his rapping talent where he goes up against his own evil counterpart:

Unfortunately Wels hasn't been very active on Hermitcraft lately and so didn't get to do much more with this storyline, but he still plays a lot of different modded Minecraft (like Vault Hunters), including a mod called Caveopolis:

Known for his time on Minecrack as well as on Hermitcraft, it's VintageBeef!

This season Beef is busy making a trading card game on Hermitcraft, and it's shaping up to be a lot of fun! It also gives him the opportunity to collaborate with all the other Hermits as he's making their cards:

Like several of the Hermits, Beef has had his hand in creating several well-known Minecraft games, including the UHC, or Ultra Hardcore game mode where your health doesn't regenerate (this is now an actual Minecraft game mode). He was part of the first ever UHC:

He's also the creator of ABBA caving, so called because "the winner takes it all". It's been played on Hermitcraft several times, here's an example from Season 7 with xBCrafted:

Beef also loves playing modded Minecraft as well as other games, right now he's trying a new mod called Ablockalypse together with several old friends:

This week's Hermit is a dramatic man of many faces: Ren-diggity-dog!

Rendog was the first person to die in the Season 6 death game Demise, and he took his role as reaper very seriously:

His cinematic skills have only increased with time, and the best example is the final episode of Season 7, which is actually more of a short film:

A lot of people had their eyes opened to Ren's dramatic flair during the miniseries 3rd Life, where he and Martyn InTheLittlewood re-enacted their own version of Game of Thrones:

And because the 2 year anniversary of Ren (and False) winning MCC9 is coming up on Monday, here's a saved version of Ren's VOD (as he didn't save it himself):

This Omega Swede is known for his redstone skills, his ability to personify objects, his sense of humour and his laugh: Iskall85! Hallo!

This season he's making his base in a giant cave, and giving it a very cool natural look:

Iskall also loves a good prank, and was one of the instigators behind the prank war that later turned into the Civil War of Season 6:

He really likes modded Minecraft, and is the main brain behind the Vault Hunters modpack, which has been running for 2 seasons on Twitch as an SMP and is now also a singleplayer series on his YouTube:

Today's Hermit may be one of the most beloved in the community - because no one is immune to GoodTimesWithScar!

Like Cub and pretty much the rest of the newcomers in Season 4, Scar came over from Kingdomcraft. He is an incredible builder, and I am literally just picking a build at random here to show off his skills:

One of the most well-known things about Scar (besides his incredible building skills) is that he dies. A lot. The zombie incident from the beginning of Season 5 is still referenced to this day:

For some reason, he's also incredibly good at death-defying stunts, especially in Hardcore situations:

He also loves mischief, and carries on the proud Convex tradition of pranking the Hermits on his own:

(This one literally had me in tears laughing, at least the second half.)

I don't normally link to streams here since they go away fast, but I just have to include Scar's stream from last week as it was so very hilarious on several levels at once. I can't get Twitch videos to embed unfortunately, but here's the link: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1566617395?t=00h07m43s

In a complete coincidence, today's Hermit is actually celebrating his birthday: Cubfan135!

Before joining Hermitcraft in the beginning of season 4, Cub was on the Kingdomcraft server together with Goodtimeswithscar, Iskall85, Rendog, Stressmonster (who joined HC in Season 5), and Welsknight, making this the biggest group to have ever joined Hermitcraft at one time. Cub and Scar quickly became an iconic duo, first as the Convex and later as Concorp. As the Convex, they mercilessly pranked the rest of the server:

Cub is not afraid of the grind, and loves to flex his hard-earned wealth. In Season 7 he went all out and built a massive pyramid with an entire wall made of ancient debris:

Besides Hermitcraft, Cub is also known for his short series "Things you (possibly) didn't know about Minecraft":

People may look at TangoTek's skin and think that he's a demon from the Nether, but this week we take a look at the Hermit who was canonically summoned to the server: ImpulseSV!

I'm not joking about the summoning part:

(And here's Tango's POV for good measure)

I was first properly introduced to Impulse in late Season 6 when he joined the hippies Grian and Rendog/Renbob against Doc and Scar/Captain Angry Eyes in Area 77:

Impulse also has a long-running series with his childhood buddy and neighbour Skizzleman called Naked and Scared (now over on the Imp and Skizz channel):

This week's Hermit is the pioneer, the man who gave name to a redstone contraption: Etho's Lab! (or EthoSlab, if you prefer :P)

Etho's first Hermitcraft episode involves a server tour by Biffa (we miss you!) and is a nice intro to season 3:

He is also known for having one of the longest running single-player series, where season 2 has now been running for 462 episodes! His last world tour was a few years ago, and it took almost 2 hours:

Recently he's also started up a new modded world, which involves the Create mod, lovely biomes and quite a few hilarious deaths by dangerous animals:

We are now on the hermits who joined in Season 3, and Docm77 is first on the list!

Doc loves his roleplaying, and has found several willing partners over the years. In Season 6 he had a great time butting heads with Grian, both in the Civil War and later in Area 77:

And of course, for most of Season 8 Doc and Ren took their viewers on a wild ride with their alternate reality game:

Then there's the story of how Doc got nerfed by Dinnerbone, resulting in the canon explanation for why he has a cyborg skin:

Zombie Cleo was one of the first people to join Season 2, of course invited by Joe. She also has a Twitch channel where she plays a bit of Hermitcraft, several other games, and there's a weekly crafting stream with Joe on Wednesdays (it's great!).

Nowadays Cleo's probably best known from her amazing armourstand work, it's hard to pick just one example here but this Season 7 video shows both her bug house and the incredible Wile. E. Coyote she buildt for Tango:

An old classic that's brought up from time to time is that one time Xisuma pranked Cleo with an excessive amount of fish:

She also recently played a bit of Sky Factory:

This weeks's Hermit is xBCrafted! Aww yeah!

xB joined at the tail end of Season 2, and for his 100th episode of Season 7 he went back to take a look at all his previous bases:

He tends to hang around with Keralis and Hypnotized, and they always have fun together, generally on the others' expence. Recently, xB was the judge as the two others fought for the grand prize in his OctoDrop game, and it was hilarious:

In addition to Minecraft xB also plays a lot of other games, especially ARK:

This week we shine the spotlight on the oldest Hermit, and although he's had his fair share of troubles over the last few years Tinfoil Chef is still going strong.

He might not be around much at the moment, but he does have a few videos from the current season:

During Season 6 TFC made a Fallout-style bunker underground. That was also where he met his epic Demise:

TFC also has a second channel where he vlogs, reviews fanfiction, and has been travelling to the FarLands for several years:

This week's Hermit may be the only one to ever have received a temporary invite before joining - it's Tango Tek!

I couldn't find any video of that (because why would Mumbo think to keep an 8-year-old livestream?), so here's Tango's first actual episode instead:

Tango is known for coming up with innovative minigames, as well as new, entertaining, and efficient Minecraft farms, especially iron farms. In Season 7, for instance, he used ravagers to kill them:

These days, however, he may be even better known for his creation of Decked Out, the most epic Deck Building, Dungeon Crawling, Treasure Hunting, Collect-em-all, Trading Game you will ever see - at least until he builds the next one this season:

This week's Hermit is iJevin!

A seasoned veteran, Jevin knocked it out of the park in Season 8 when he not only made an incredible base but also terraformed the swamp into something gorgeous:

In addition to playing on Hermitcraft Jevin also does a lot of let's plays:

He's also a speedrunner, and has several videos where he speedruns the Hermitcraft seeds:

We're moving to Hermits from Season 2 now, and this week it's FalseSymmetry's turn!

False has a tendency to make round bases that are dug down to bedrock, and they generally look gorgeous. One more recent example is her cyberpunk base from Season 7:

She's also known as PrankSymmetry, for... obvious reasons. In Season 6, her and Grian's payback prank at the wrong person were one of the inciting incidents of the Civil War:

In addition to Hermitcraft, False is a regular player in the Minecraft Championships, where she has been on a winning team 3 times and is the first back-to-back winner. The second of those wins were in MCC 10, where she also got an Ace in the finals:

This week's Hermit is the last member of season 1 who is still active today: Keralis!

Keralis took a long break after season 3, and didn't really come back until the middle of season 6 where Doc and Scar promptly mistook him for an alien:

Perhaps his most epic build so far has been the giant city of season 7, especially after Cleo filled it with armourstand life:

This week's Hermit was made for the spotlight: Joe Hills!

Joe was the first new member to be added to the server in Season 1 after the OG members, and he brought the Joe Hills difference from the very beginning:

He is also perhaps the most community-minded of the Hermits, and always participates in and livestreams HHH (Hermits Helping Hermits). In my opinion this video rivals "Professional Minecrafters" in shenanigans:

Before he joined Hermitcraft, Joe was known for his playthoughs of Super Hostile maps, which can be found on his channel, and his many collaborations. One of my favourite non-Hermitcraft Joe videos is this one:

This week we're having a closer look at Hypnotizd!

Hypno had a bit of a slow start to Season 9, so with only 4 episodes out it's an ideal time to start watching him if you aren't already:

He also does a lot of modded Minecraft, the latest being Skyblock... with bees?

Continuing with another OG Hermit - it's rec'ing with Bdubs!

I didn't really click with Bdubs when I was first introduced to him in Season 6, but that changed when I went to see his reaction to being dragon bro'd. If you want to watch someone who is over the top and knows it, this is your man:

He is also one of the most incredible builders on Hermitcraft, and his Season 7 castle is a favourite of mine:

His original "Building with BdoubleO" series is also worth checking out if you want a trip down Minecraft memory lane:
