MCC Twitch Rivals, live at TwitchCon

Today is MCC Twitch Rivals, the first MCC to be held in person, which will surely be exciting!

The following Hermits are participating:
- cubfan135 on the Yellow Yaks with Antfrost, Awesamdude, and CaptainSparklez
- Scar, Gem, and Impulse on the Aqua Axolotls with Hbomb, aka team "H and the Hermits" (my favorite skin design)

Tango will be there in person to cheer them on. Fingers crossed Scar will be able to play despite his concussion!

Sadly I won't be able to watch live but I very much look forward to watching Aqua afterwards. Not a favorite to win but certainly a team that will have great vibes. Especially since it is in person! I anticipate fun shenanigans from all teams.

I had a great time watching - kinda like Aqua who were chilling in last place for most of the event haha. The banter was golden, I made way too many livequote posts on tumblr. My favourite:

HBomb: "Scar asked me [to play Decked Out], am I a Hermitcrafter now?"
Impulse: "I think once you collect us all it's an automatic in"
HBomb: "I gotta find Bdubs and Etho now!"

After Yellow won I of course had to watch Cub's POV, and then I watched the Twith stream for good measure. It was fun to hear the commentary and see what they focused on, although I'm a little sad that they didn't catch Impulse's 2nd place in Terra Swoop Force. Aqua's coward strat in Skybattle was great though XD

The best part about that quote is that he forgot the Hermit he has the best chances of actually teaming with ^^ Cleo said they are interested in playing again one day once they are done moving etc.
(I still want the fic where Hbomb "collecting" Hermits is more sinister xD)

The Aqua Sky Battle strat was amazing, and them having yellow jerseys to support Cub was perfect.
