I love that tugboat! If I had time I'd be watching this series as well as his HC episodes, the way he thinks and talks about building in Minecraft is so interesting. He's been that way from the very beginning; since he used to work in construction and build houses it makes a lot of sense. I watched the start of his first series a while back and he was doing a lot of the same things (although on a very basic level of course). He was also really playing up the arrogant persona, it's hilarious.

He used to work in construction? Interesting, I wonder how/how much that influenced his designs! I also love his Hermitcraft base, especially all the interior details.

that tugboat is SO COOL and overall bdubs is just so amazing with his builds it's unreal. the way he approaches colour and shadows is phenomenal, that man is an artist!

He really is! Another recent build of his that I absolutely love is his Hermitcraft TNT shop, it looks fantastic with the colors and the dark part on top.

IKR! his recent builds just blow me away every time, esp when he just casually drops some detailing knowledge i wouldnt ever think of, like in the tnt shop video about nether brick fences/walls, or his last buildin with bdubs about glass panes at the corners — sometimes i wish he started a creative series bc i KNOW he'd do some insane shit if he had access to all blocks in the game AND the debug stick

On the one hand Bdubs could surely do fantastic things if he had access to even more blocks but on the other hand I really appreciate seeing what he can do with the restrictions of vanilla. In his latest video he used levers to make a hole look like kind of like a circle and it was great.
