Season 9 Discussion Post: Week 77

I've been a week behind for ages and I'm desperately trying to catch up because I hear that more shenanigans are happening both at the perimeter and between Cleo and Cubfan. Catching up is hard when I watch too many Hermits (not to mention other MCYTers)... which Hermits are you all watching?

I am watching all of them ;_; Hypno's website work is indeed a gift.

There were indeed shenanigans last week! But with several people on vacation, and the Buttercups waiting to all upload together, not as many uploads as usual, so it wasn't to hard to keep up with them all. Although I haven't watched Keralis's new one yet and I am very ??? ▣o▣ about the title

Yes, that website is really handy! I would watch pretty much everyone if I only had the time... as it is I might have to scale down a bit more.

Oooo what was Keralis up to? I see some of his stuff through especially xB, but I miss out on a lot.

It's basically the only thing I watch at the moment, and I'm not watching streams mostly, which makes the amount a lot more manageable! There's only usually an hour or so a day, which is less than when I was trying to watch the national news...

I'm watching pretty much all of the Hermits, though some of them - xB, Beef, Ren, Jevin, Zedaph, Xisuma, Impulse, Gem, Pearl, False - only occasionally depending on how much time I have. I knew getting into Hermitcraft would be a bad idea because of the time investment! (I still don't regret it.)

Yeah, how dare they have 20+ brilliant people making good videos! Don't they know our struggle to keep up? XD

I was lured in via Mumbo, and then the number of Hermits I watched just kept increasing... It's kind of all or nothing for me, if I subscribe then I don't like skipping videos. I actually had to unsub from Cub because he makes too many, haha

The Hermitcraft episodes alone would be more manageable, but there's streams, and other videos, and the biggest danger are the other big projects they're involved in - no I'm not going to follow Pirates SMP even though I'm sure Cleo makes a fantastic pirate but it is a little tempting... *shakes fist*

I watch Gem, Bdubs, Tango, and Scar primarily! And then depending on the episode and timing: Pearl, Impulse, Cleo, Grian, and Mumbo.

That's a nice spread! I love that there is so much collaboration, because we get to see what more of the Hermits are up to even when we don't follow a lot of them.

Currently I watch Bdubs, Cleo, Etho, False, Gem, Grian, Impulse, Iskall, Joe, Mumbo, Pearl, Ren, Scar, Stress, Tango, Wels, xB, Xisuma, and Zedaph. So I don't mind when people take breaks or don't update very often, because there's always someone to watch. That being said, I do miss Iskall, Stress, and Wels. (Wels has a fun letsplay of Grounded at the moment though, which is very chill.) Sometimes I'll see the same event from three or four POVs, which can be fun but I do tend do zone out for those parts...

The multiple POVs thing is one of my favorite parts of SMPs - it's like the whole thing is a Rashomon episode! Some of them are better at putting their own spin on it than others though it's true, so sometimes when there's a lot of people in a scene I do end up fast-forwarding after about four of them.
